Coffee Break: Help!
by Anna Weggel
April 14, 2020
Today in 1965, The Beatles changed the name of their second movie from "Eight Arms To Hold You" to "Help!". And it was only changed just a few months before the release too - in fact, "Eight Arms To Hold You" was printed on the single "Ticket to Ride" as an upcoming film (before it was changed).
All this talk of "help" is a good reminder to provide help to others if you can during this time, and to ask for it if you need it. A great place to start is MPR's Call to Mind initiative, where you can dig into topics like how to get help, resources if you're in crisis, dealing with loneliness and isolation, coping with stress and anxiety, mental illness, digital distractions, focusing on self-care during a pandemic, and talking to kids about COVID-19.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that say "help"?
