Tonight at 7 pm is the #MeTooMPLS album release on MeTooMPLS.com.

It is a virtual, streaming live performance from Minnesota-based artists aiming to create songs to raise Minnesota women's voices, support sexual assault survivors, and raise funds for Planned Parenthood.

The headliners are Tina Schlieske, Mayda and Sarah Morris, who will each perform a 30 min set live, and the rest of the artists from the compilation including Ashleigh Still, Lydia Liza, Mary Bue, Annie Mack, Linnea Mohn, Chastity Brown, Ang Oase, Annie Fitzgerald, Elska, r0, Katy Vernon, Kara Laudon, Averil Bach and JOUR will be performing their new single that was pre-recorded live at Hook and Ladder.

All the songwriters involved were asked to write and record an original song on the subject of #MeToo. Without any further guidelines, the artists delivered songs ranging from heartbreaking songs about surviving sexual assault to inspiring songs about feminist icons and their influence on their lives.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, sit back and listen to some of these amazing artists fighting the good fight.
