Pieta Brown and friends merge on 'Freeway'

For her latest album, 'Freeway,' Pieta Brown knew which musicians she wanted to work with and where she wanted to record. Gathering a number of accomplished players from Wisconsin and Minnesota, Brown recorded her new album at April Base in Wisconsin. On a recent visit to The Current, Brown and her friends performed some songs from the resulting album for a session heard on United States of Americana.
