July is just around the corner and The Current is heading to Duluth once again for a weekend of summer fun, local music and brews!

Friday, July 24

Live taping of The Local Show with David Campbell The Red Herring Lounge, 3-6 p.m. David Campbell hosts a live recording of The Local Show and happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Red Herring Lounge. The event is free and open to the public, but happy hour beverages are not included. This special Duluth edition of The Local Show will air on Sunday, July 26. Live Music at the Red Herring Lounge The Red Herring Lounge, doors at 9 p.m.; music at 10 p.m. Stick around the Red Herring for a night of free local music presented by The Current. Duluth-based bands Lion or Gazelle, Fever Dream and Gramma’s Boyfriend will take the stage and Castle Danger brewing will take over the taps. Doors are at 9 p.m.; music at 10 p.m. Admission is free. 10 p.m. - Lion or Gazelle 11 p.m. - Fever Dream 12 a.m. - Gramma's Boyfriend Fulton Brewing Presents Great Party, Great Lake Pizza Luce, 9 p.m. music Just down the hill that night, Fulton Brewing presents Great Party. Great Lake, featuring performances by the Social Disaster, Sam Cassidy and the 4onthefloor. Admission is free. All Pints North Summer Brew Fest Bayfront Festival Park, 3-p.m. On Saturday, Team Current will be hanging out at All Pints North Summer Brew Fest at Bayfront Festival Park. Host David Campbell will emcee and DJ throughout the event and other staffers from The Current will be on site to hand out swag—including The Current branded koozies, perfect for the day’s festivities!
