"There's a certain bias against artists as they grow older," says Kitty. "And I felt that my friends and I were becoming, if anything, more passionate, more professional and more invested in what we do as artists."

So the three decided to combine their strengths.

"This is not 'Menopause, the Musical.' This is us being strong women and artists."
