New Century Masters perform in The Current studio

Although they are a relatively new band, New Century Masters are no strangers to the Twin Cities music scene. After disbanding from previous projects, New Century Masters formed in 2009. However, the band's origin can be traced back to Forest Lake High School where keyboardist Jorge Raasch complimented lead singer and bassist Paul Flowers' Get Up Kids t-shirt.
Their tight guitar-and-keyboard-driven pop, reminiscent of the Beach Boys, brings the surf-rock revival to cold, land-locked Minneapolis. New Century Masters will celebrate the release of their debut LP, "Vol. III: Rarities and Odd Ditties," on September 17 at the Nomad World Pub.
New Century Masters stopped by the Local Show to perform a few songs. Songs performed: "Cluttered Bouquet," "Oliver" and "Middle C."
