In terms of the Twins Cities music scene, Liminal Phase is Adam Levy's latest experimental project. Leaving behind traditional song structure and form, Liminal Phase creates instrumental soundscapes blending together jazz, psychedelia and improvised works. Adam Levy is joined by DeVon Gray (Heiruspecs) on Bassoon, flute and keys, Lisa Hirst-carnes on Oboe and Harmonium, Joey Van Phillips (Mystery Palace, Dessa) on drums, Dan Zamzow (Cloud Cult, Deep Soul Deities) on cello and Nathan Brende adding diverse electronic textures. Liminal Phase will release their debut album entitled LP on Simon Recordings out of New York City. The album release show is Thursday November 3rd at The Bryant Lake Bowl.
