Imagine jamming with your neighbor Paul McCartney, hitting number one with the song Paul wrote ("A World Without Love"), working A&R for Beatle-run Apple Records and managing talent like James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt. Peter Asher doesn't have to daydream about it — he lived through it all.

Asher stopped by to chat with The Morning Show's Jill Rily about his lengthy musical past and the two-night retrospective he's putting on at The Dakota Jazz Club this week.

He also stopped by The Daily Circuit on MPR News to share more stories from his life in the 1960's.
