9:30 Coffee Break: Is that a Meteor or Asteroid?

February 15, 2013

The solar system has been tossing the Earth a few shocks today. We have been aware for a while of the asteroid about the size of half a football field that will be passing by Earth this afternoon. By a strange coincidence, a large meteor exploded above Russia earlier today, injuring around 700 people.

Check out the video of the meteor exploding below and then help us come up with a Coffee Break of songs for meteors and asteroids.

Don't forget to sign up to win treats from Gigi's Cafe and the dulcet tones of Chris Koza for our February Coffee Break on the Road. To enter write to us explaining why you need a Coffee Break at your work and email it to: CoffeeBreak@theCurrent.org
