The unexpected passing of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins on March 25 of this year was a staggering loss in the music world. In June, Foo Fighters, along with Taylor Hawkins’ family, announced a couple of tribute concerts in honor of the late Foo Fighters drummer: one in London on Saturday, Sept, 3; and another in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Saturday’s concert at London’s Wembley Stadium will be available for viewing worldwide through a series of partnerships between Foo Fighters and Paramount, which operates such outlets as CBS, MTV, Paramount+ and many other content platforms. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. British Summer Time, which is 10:30 a.m. Central Daylight Time.

Probably the easiest way for most people to watch is through the livestream offered through MTV’s YouTube channel.

Beyond YouTube, the livestream will also be available on Pluto TV and to subscribers of Paramount+.

On-demand access to the recorded concert is available to Paramount+ subscribers on September 3, and it will become available on Pluto TV and on MTV TV VOD beginning September 5

In addition to the above, CBS will air an hour-long special on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 9 p.m. Central, featuring highlights from the concert. MTV will air this same special starting Sunday, Sept. 4. Later in the month, MTV will offer a two-hour special with additional highlights from the concert.

“Taylor was not only an incredible drummer and musician but truly one of the most passionate super fans of music the world has seen,” said Bruce Gillmer, an executive producer and Chief Content Officer of Music at Paramount+. “His infectious energy and unique talent will continue to live on through his vast body of work.”

Tickets and merchandise sales for the The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities chosen by the Hawkins family, specifically: Music Support, a U.K. based charity that provides help to those in the music industry affected by mental health and substance use disorders; and MusiCares, a U.S. charity that provides an array of support resources to those in the music industry.
