What do you do after 20 years as a singer-songwriter when you've recorded an armload of successful CDs, toured the country filling concert halls and coffee houses, and written hundreds of songs? John Gorka got convinced to do something different. This week he's releasing, "The Gypsy Life", a two-disc, high quailty DVD set of some of his best songs, recorded in a theater in Los Angeles without an audience.

To help, he enlisted some his favorite players, including Susan Werner and Michael Manring. "It's not your typical video," John says, but he still isn't sure how to talk about it.

Songs performed, "Writing in the Margins", and "My Buddy Frank".
