Alec Ounsworth is best known for as the singer and guiarist for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. To date, the band has released two self-distributed studio albums, a self-titled debut and the sophomore effort "Some Loud Thunder," as well as the internet-only live album "Live at Lollapalooza 2007." While Clap Your Hands is still active, Ounsworth has embarked on a solo career and has also started up a new project, Flashy Python, with members of The Walkmen, Dr. Dog and Man Man.

In August 2009, Flashy Python put out their debut "Skin and Bones" spontaneously, with no pre-release press, and Ounsworth's solo debut "Mo Beauty" followed in October on Anti- Records.

Alec and some bandmates stopped by The Current studio to perform and to chat with Jill Riley.

Songs performed: "Me & You Watson", "Modern Girls," "Skin And Bones" and "When You've No Eyes."
