Live From The Current Studio
Ten Centuries perform in The Current studios
by David Campbell and Ten Centuries
March 02, 2010
"We go to the woods to be made new." The minds behind Ten Centuries did just that. Bill Caperton and Mike Gunnerson, both formerly of Ela, spent 10 days in a northwoods cabin writing and recording music.
Not letting the methodical composition and revision aspect of songwriting take over, the duo allowed the powder keg of association to explode.
Bill and Mike emerged from the woods with a nine-song CD titled "White Pines." The album was released in late January, and the band stopped by The Current for a live performance on The Local Show.
Songs performed: "Blank Currency," "Ice Age," "Fallen Trees," and "Turtle Mountain" (Web Exclusive).
