Sharon Van Etten performs live in The Current studio
Now onto her third album about the aftermath of a broken relationship, Sharon Van Etten is sounding stronger than ever before. Her music has always been a beautiful juxtaposition of bitter and angry lyrics sung with enough sweetness to soften the blow.
Starting her career as a promoter and manager of bands, including current tour mates Shearwater, Sharon has always had an ear for music. Her latest album, Tramp, expands the sound of her earlier albums with a full band and harmonizing vocals.
Songs played: "Give Out," "Leonard," and "Life of His Own."
