Climb aboard the Big Easy Express and prepare yourself for a cinematic musical journey. Directed by renowned filmmaker Emmett Malloy — director of the White Stripes documentary, Under Great White Northern Lights — the rockumentary follows three Current-approved bands (Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Mumford & Sons and Old Crow Medicine Show) as their whistle-stop train journey takes them on a tour across the country.

Recorded on honest-to-goodness real-life film, Big Easy Express captures the spontaneous moments and special interactions between three talented bands living life on the track. Their journey yields unconventional performances in locations that range from a shipping port in Oakland to a train yard in San Pedro and a vacant lot in Tempe. Part road movie and part concert film, Big Easy Express captures the raw energy of live music and the bonds that form between those who experience it.
