At the end of each month, The Current's Morning Show loads up the 89.3 The Current van and takes a bunch of pastries and a big tureen of coffee to local Current-loving workplaces. (If you want to get in on this racket, send an email to coffeebreak@thecurrent.org with the reason why your office deserves a treat.)

And every once in a while, we're lucky enough to bring a real rock and roll band along with us. This time, the timing and routing worked out perfectly for us to bring along Canadian superstars The Tragically Hip.

Touring in support of their twelfth album, "Now for Plan A," released earlier this year, The Tragically Hip played a Minneapolis gig at Mill City Nights on Nov. 30. In order to get them properly caffeinated, we took them out on the road for a coffee break at The Nerdery.

Paul Langlois and Gordon Downie from The Hip performed a short acoustic set for the staff, including "The Look Ahead," seen above.
