The two women behind the band Boy have only released one full album to date, 2011's Mutual Friends, but it's made a pretty big splash. The Swiss-German indie-pop duo have been performing together since 2007 and are based out of Hamburg.

Since Mutual Friends was re-released in the UK last summer, Boy have found their relentlessly catchy single "Little Numbers" embraced by American indie audiences, and their music has featured prominently on commercials and TV shows.

In town for sold-out gigs at Bryant Lake Bowl and the Cedar Cultural Center, Boy stopped by The Current studios to chat with Mark Wheat and play a few of their songs.

Songs played: "Oh Boy," "Drive Darling" and "Little Numbers"
