9:30 Coffee Break: Fat Tuesday

March 04, 2014

Happy Fat Tuesday! Historically it's the final day of feasting before the fasting of lent. It's the last day of the Carnival season. Also known as Mardi Gras, it's mostly celebrated by college students with plastic beads and the imbibing of alcoholic beverages.

We're going to indulge on the musical side of Fat Tuesday for the Coffee Break. Let's create a playlist of music that pulls in the energy and spirit of a New Orleans Mardi Gras. What do you want to hear?

Do you want to have Blitzen Trapper in your workplace? We're bringing them with us for the March Coffee Break on the Road. We'll pick up goodies from JJ's Coffee and Wine Bistro and then head over to visit you with the band. Just let us know why you deserve a Coffee Break: CoffeeBreak@TheCurrent.org
