On Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 9:30 p.m. CDT, Prince's ART OFFICIAL AGE and his collaboration with 3RDEYEGIRL, PLECTRUMELECTRUM, will be celebrated with an online album release party, streamed live from Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minn.

The Current's Andrea Swensson has been out to Paisley Park before to hear music by Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL, and she'll be there again this evening for the live show. "I don't know what's going to happen tonight, which is a big part of the appeal," Andrea says. "The press release for the live-streaming event mentioned an 'exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Prince's legendary Minnesota studio complex, Paisley Park,' and a live performance by 3RDEYEGIRL. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess — though I am especially intrigued by some rumors that have been flying around that Kendrick Lamar is coming to town to attend the event."
