So what do you do when you walk out of college with a major in philosophy? You become a folk singer, naturally.
That's what Dennis Warner did. He also studied music in college and combined those two passions into a successful career as a singer-songwriter. He's been touring the U.S. for a couple of decades now. His latest album (his NINTH) is called Seeds.
A resident of Clearwater, Minn., Dennis has more recently expanded his career as an author and guest speaker. His book, Beads on a String, has become a favorite for teachers and parents, and has led him to performances at elementary and middle schools in addition to more typical gigs.
Dennis Warner stopped by the Radio Heartland studios with Dennis Kennedy, a member of Dennis Warner's band, the D's.
Songs performed:
"What A Lovely Night"
"Sweet Northern Home"
"I'm My Own Grandpa"
Hosted and produced by Mike Pengra
Engineered by Corey Schreppel
