I don't get out to see live music nearly as much as I should, considering just how much GREAT music there is to see, but when I do, I'm almost always blown away. One of the reasons is that I think a live performance really brings out what music has to offer … the combination of energy and focus by the musicians and the excitement and anticipation of the audience.

On a couple of occasions in the past few years, I've seen The Last Revel, and they've surprised me by how much intensity they bring to their music AND to their performance.

The band are putting the finishing touches on a new record to be released in spring of 2015, and they stopped by the studio to play some of their new original tunes.

Thanks to their videographer friend, Marcos Juarez-Gosselin of Infinitree Media, we've got these videos of the in-studio session, too:

The Last Revel are:

Lee Henke
Ryan Acker
Vinnie Donatelle

Songs Performed

"Iron and Ore"
"Garage Sale"
"Unbound"
