Carly Simon released her hit single, "You're So Vain," back in November 1972. During the intervening 43 years, it's been a mystery as to whom the song is actually about. Although Simon occasionally dropped hints, the subject of the tune has remained elusive … until now. This week, Simon revealed to People magazine that the second verse is indeed about Warren Beatty. "I have confirmed that the second verse is Warren," she said in an interview about her memoir, Boys in the Trees, which will be released later this month.

Songs about celebrities are not rare in music; sometimes, like in Carly Simon's song, a celebrity is inferred but not named. Other times, celebrities are name-checked outright. Either way, songs about celebrities can make for an interesting and star-studded playlist.

So for today's Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that are about or that name-check celebrities? Send us your requests.
