Jody Williams: Circumstantial Evidence
Jody Williams: Circumstantial Evidence
Cistellula Numero Quinta by Jody Williams

MPR News Arts Reporter Marianne Combs joins Jade and Sean McPherson to talk about three gallery events you can see in the local art world.

Here's the rundown:

The Watercolor Worlds of Lars Lerin — At the American Swedish Institute, it's a solo exhibition of contemporary Swedish watercolor master Lars Lerin including 40+ large-scale works depicting both natural and social environments that span place and time with a strong Nordic temperament.

Circumstantial Evidence by Jody Williams — At the Christensen Art Gallery, this exhibition will present new books and boxes from Jody's collection of found objects and obscure items, along with older works that have rarely been exhibited.

Guerrilla Girls — Taking over the Twin Cities art world, The Guerrilla Girls – famous for exposing sexism, racism and corruption in the art world – will be popping up across the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and beyond.

Marianne Combs joins The Current's Morning Show for the Weekend Arts Roundup every Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Read all the latest arts news from MPR News.
