"We are excited to share the news that Bon Iver is returning to headline Rock the Garden, their only Twin Cities show of 2017, and to let fans start their summer day-dreaming early this year", comments Philip Bither, the Walker's Director and Senior Curator of Performing Arts. Jim McGuinn, program director for The Current adds, "We're excited to present Bon Iver's only Twin Cities performance on their current tour to support the critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album 22, A Million."

2012 Grammy-winner and 2016 nominee Bon Iver last played Rock the Garden in 2008, opening the bill that also included Andrew Bird, the New Pornographers and Cloud Cult. At the time, Vernon was touring in support of his first Bon Iver record, For Emma, Forever Ago. Nine years, two albums, and hundreds of international shows later he returns to the Walker for what will surely be the don't-miss live music event of Twin Cities.
