Coffee Break: Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)
by Anna Reed
March 16, 2017
We were lucky enough to get a tour of the new Mia exhibit "Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters" and chat with curator Gabe Ritter for today's Rock & Roll Lifestyle.
The exhibit features items from the Mia but also largely from del Toro's personal collection of paintings, drawings, artifacts, and film art from Bleak House, his Los Angeles sanctuary. As you walk through the display, monsters and creepy things are at the heart of this experience, whether the creatures are framed on the wall or recreated in perfect, life-size detail.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that reference scary monsters?
