The Dustbowl Revival kick up some dust in the Radio Heartland studio

Horns to the left me, strings to the right … Here I am, stuck in the middle with … The Dustbowl Revival!
Yes, once again I had the best seat in the house as the Los Angeles band The Dustbowl Revival stopped in the Radio Heartland studio to play some tracks from their new self-titled album. Hearing them from my perspective — literally in the center of the action — you can feel the energy that this is a LIVE band. So getting them settled down to record their latest album was a serious task, a task they hired veteran musician Ted Hutt (Flogging Molly) to undertake.
The Dustbowl Revival have been promoted as a funk and soul band, but also as roots band and even — a bluegrass band! Listen and try to peg them yourself.
