The Decemberists have already sold out April 6th at The Palace Theater. There might be some tickets left for April 7th and they've invited Duluth based Gaelynn Lea to open both nights as she also played on their new album. Our Number One song is on the nation's #9 album this week on Billboard's Top 200

Lord Huron are another act who have already sold out a date at The Palace on April 22nd, two days after their new 'Vide Noir' album comes out. They're brand new at #20 this week, with a song they just performed on Jimmy Kimmel, to a very excited audience!

Margaret Glaspy capitalizes on the success of her debut album of last year 'Emotions and Math' by releasing an EP ahead of another tour, hitting First Ave's Mainroom April 5th, which has been moved from The Entry. She talked to NPR about making the EP and writing on tour.

Ezra Furman bounces back on to the Chart after a three week hiatus. He did an in-studio for us back in 2015 citing the influence on this Chicago kid that the Twin Cities has had.

Greta Van Fleet are inducted into the Chart Hall of Fame for the very first time. Another Michigan native Jack White is, alternatively, inducted for the 9th. That puts him in third position on our All Time Hall of Fame Chart. They both play The Armory this summer too, Jack on August 6th and Greta Van Fleet on July 3rd.

The Decemberists, First Aid Kit, and Nathaniel Rateliff are all poised to be inducted next week. Although Jack White's album hasn't been getting good reviews, a Pennsylvania paper The Reading Eagle has given a glowing report on The Night Sweats follow up.

After one week at the top jeremy messersmith falls to #5 this week. He's playing First Ave this Friday with Monica LaPlant, but if you'd prefer Orchestra Hall as a venue to see him in you can, on May 12th!
