Exploring the musical legacy of Prince and beyond
It's been almost two and a half years since The Current's signal went live in Duluth, and with that expansion came one of our favorite summer traditions: The Current Goes to Duluth! This July 27 and 28 The Current hosts and staff are setting up camp in your great city for two days of fun – we have some great events lined up!
Join us Friday afternoon at Bent Paddle Brewery's newly relocated taproom in Duluth's Lincoln Park Craft District for a live broadcast hosted by Jade and Duluth Local Show host Mike Novitzki. We'll chat about what's new in Duluth with the Bent Paddle staff. Plus, we're bringing a few of Duluth's best musicians to a statewide audience.

Meet us at The Red Herring after the broadcast for a free showcase of Minnesota music featuring a mix of local artists from Duluth and the Twin Cities.
On Saturday we head down to the water for the seventh annual All Pints North in Bayfront Festival Park. High On Stress and Viva Knievel (an all-Bauhaus Brew Labs band), will provide the tunes. Plus, Jade and Mike will emcee.
The event gives 3,500 craft beer fans an opportunity to enjoy unlimited and unique samples from many Minnesota craft breweries as well as hand-picked national craft beer brands. All Pints North also offers beer connoisseurs one of the most scenic beer festival backdrops in the country, with the event staged on the banks of Lake Superior. Attendees can also participate in interactive beer education presentations.
Tickets are $45 in advance when purchased online. Sober driver tickets are $10.
After the fest we head back to The Red Herring Lounge to hang with our friends from Bauhaus Brew Labs for a tap takeover and performances from The 4onthefloor and Jaw Knee Vee.
