Step into a night of bold self-expression and celebration of Planned Parenthood’s essential work in Minnesota.

This isn’t your average fashion show—it’s a movement. Ready or Hot models are people of all shapes, sizes, genders, ages, and races who are doing cool things in the Twin Cities who embody the vibrant beauty and unstoppable spirit of our community and dedication to reproductive freedom.

A special highlight of the runway show is condom couture with designs created exclusively for Ready or Hot that feature condoms in a variety of ways. This year’s designs will be created by local designer VWY Designs and models will include DJ and artist Sophia Eris and Meghan Kreidler of Kiss the Tiger.

Tickets are priced on a sliding scale to help expand access and start at $25. Host level opportunities are also available.

DJ Tricky Miki

DJ Tricky Miki (she/her) describes herself as an Afropunk who loves ALL music, but especially funky, infectious dance grooves—House / Funk / Soul / classic Hip-Hop—which create a happy and lively atmosphere where everyone can find something to make them move.

Nilufer Arsala

Nilufer Arsala (she/her) joined The Current in April 2024. She comes to Minnesota Public Radio from Dallas by way of Oklahoma and has been active in radio since 2001. Arsala describes her career as more of a calling than a choice. Sharing her musical discoveries is one of her favorite things, and she loves doing that with The Current’s audience. As host/producer of The Current's Morning Show, Arsala is Jill Riley’s co-host and show producer.
