Thomas Sticha

Thomas Sticha is a Minnesota-based country-folk artist who has blazed his own trail in the scene over the last two years. His songwriting is thoughtful and clever, often paired with imaginative storytelling and disarming humor. With four new singles in 2025 and plenty more on the way, Thomas and his band are positioned well to break out as an emerging Midwest country-folk act in 2026.

The pairing of his two singles, “Mississippi Down” and “Then It’s Gone,” both perfectly exemplify his musical range as a songwriter, as a recording artist, and as a live-show performer.

val son is a three-piece, diy rock band from minneapolis, mn. formed in 2014, members mike gunvalson, eric carlson, and emily mohrbacher write collaboratively, using distorted guitars, earthy percussion and minimalist song structures to lyrically explore the good and the bad of life in the midwest. describing their sound as "sad rock," val son just hopes their music makes you feel something.

LaPlant Road

LaPlant Road is the fondly named duo of Emily LaPlant and Liz Ashworth. It is an ode to the music made in Northern Minnesota, on LaPlant Road, the place where Emily and Liz grew up and discovered themselves. They bring their love for traditional folk and fiddle tunes as well as jazz, R&B, and Rock n Roll into something totally unique. It’s all encompassed by a deep love for each other, two childhood friends and soul sisters.
