It can be hard to keep up with Minnesota’s ever-changing music ecosystem if we don’t check in with each other. In 2022, The Current’s LineCheck series returns with monthly topics to create an exchange of ideas for keeping the scene healthy, safe, and inspired. Led by The Local Show host Diane, each virtual event brings together top artists, industry leaders, and audiences to reflect on where things are at, and where they’re going. In five events between March and June, LineCheck will explore the TikTok and NFT phenomena, find out how the pandemic has affected the business of booking concerts, provide guidance for artists looking to secure grants, and delve into what the creative process looks like for several successful acts today. In addition to providing a forum for education and connection, each event will also feature exclusive performances from top Minnesota musicians.

LineCheck is made possible in part by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
