Indie-rock band Mew has paid their dues to become one of the more successful "surreal" bands from Denmark. They've gone from sleeping in bunk beds in London to save money to winning "Album of the Year" and "Band of the Year" and the 2003 Danish Music Critics Award Show.

Up until this point they were well known only in Denmark, but after a European tour supporting R.E.M. they have begun to attract wider attention.

They were in town to support their new album, "And the Glass Handed Kites."

Songs performed: "Zoo Keeper's Boy," White Lips Kissed," and "Why Are You Looking so Grave" (web-only track).
