"Trying to play bluegrass banjo without anybody to play with... it's just the lonesomest instrument in the world. The truth of the matter is, I didn't have very many friends in high school, so I had lots of time to sit in my room."

These days Laurie is surrounded by people who understand exactly what she went through -- her band, The Right Hands. They visited the studio to talk with Dale Connelly and Jim Ed Poole of The Morning Show.
