Quasi seem to be one of those bands that you've always heard but can't quite place.
Maybe it's because drummer Janet Weiss found fame in Sleater-Kinney, or that guitarist Sam Coomes fronts Pink Mountain, or that they recently added Jicks bassist Joanna Bolme to their tight lineup. Either way, Quasi have kept pumping out great records, including their latest, "American Gong."
Quasi came to The Current studios for a live performance.
