Storyhill began in Bozeman, Montana, when Chris Cunningham and John Hermanson met in their 7th grade world geography class. Upon graduating high school, they started making music as Chris and Johnny, until they separated to pursue their own musical endeavors.

In 1996, the duo reunited and adopted the name Storyhill. Storyhill released a self-titled album in 2007 and their latest release, "Shade of the Trees," earlier this year. The album was produced by local music mainstay Dan Wilson and released by Red House Records. The band stopped by the Local Show to play a few songs.

Songs performed: "Avalon," "Better Angels" and "Town Talks."
