Nightinghales
Purposefully misspelled Minneapolis rockers the Nightinghales.
MPR / Nate Ryan

Purposefully misspelled Minneapolis band the Nightinghales draw heavily from American-inspired, British blues bands like the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, and the also alternatively-spelled Byrds. Nightinghales are fronted by a husband and wife duo and some of the other members have played in local bands the Idle Hands and Faux Jean. The Nightinghales are known for their surprisingly intense shows, described as "a caffeinated, contemporary approach to vintage-inspired rock and roll."

The Nightinghales stopped by the Local Show for a live performance. Songs performed: "Don't Pretent," "Old Time Religion," and "Vegas Rag."
