Communist Daughter, the Wisconsin-via-Minneapolis quintet formed a couple of years ago by the onetime frontman of Friends Like These, excel at the kind of mellow, catchy folk-rock that is a staple of the Twin Cities rock scene, so it's no wonder they rapidly found themselves gaining recognition in the local music community. Given their stellar Local Show session from last year and the success of their full-length debut Soundtrack to the End, The Current was happy to welcome them to our State Fair stage.
Songs played: "Speed Of Sound," "Golden Slumbers," "Ghosts" and "Not The Kid."
