The story of Dan Wilson is by now a local legend. He helped create some of the biggest music hits in the '80s and '90s through his work in Semisonic and Trip Shakespeare. He contributed three songs to Adele's ultra successful 21. He has written pieces for Josh Groban and Dixie Chicks and collaborated further with artists such as KT Tunstall, Sheryl Crow and Rachael Yamagata. Barb Abney got a chance to sit down with music superstar in advance of his appearance at Wits.
