Rodriguez Interview Part Two
by MPR

While nearly forgotten in the United States, '70s singer-songwriter Rodriguez became one of the most famous and beloved American rock artists in South Africa on the strength of his song "Sugar Man" — a fact almost completely unknown to him for years. A much-heralded new documentary Searching for Sugar Man tracks the rise of his legend in South Africa, culminating in a widespread rumor of an onstange suicide, and follows South African fans as they try to get to the bottom of the Rodriguez story.

Rodriguez himself stopped by The Current's Morning Show for an interview. Listen to his take on the documentary and his career.
