You probably know Molly Ringwald from her defining roles in seminal John Hughes flicks like Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club. But the versatile actresses is making a new name for herself: writer.

In 2010, Molly published a memoir, Getting the Pretty Back: Friendship, Family, and Finding the Perfect Lipstick, and is recently released her first novel, When It Happens to You: A Novel in Stories. Molly joined The Morning Show to talk about the new book and life after being a teen idol.
