Back in August, Bon Iver announced a remix contest for the Grammy-award winning Bon Iver, Bon Iver with the help of Indaba Music. People were invited to take the musical stems from every track on the record and make them their own. Well, last time we checked in with Justin during The Local Show, the contest was sitting pretty at over 1,600 entries when voting began in mid-September. The reward was certainly of interest to many: $1,000 for every grand prize winner plus inclusion on an exclusive Spotify compilation.

Today, the results have been announced, and lo and behold, a fair share of local talent is included in the final mix such as Dosh, Alpha Consumer, S. Carey and even filmmaker Dan Huiting's collaboration with Adam Rucinski. However, only songs 1-10 are the actual grand prize winners, while 11-16 are contributions from close friends of the band.
