Today in Music History: Happy Birthday Bob Dylan
May 24, 2013

History Highlight:
Bob Dylan is 72 today. Born Robert Allen Zimmerman in 1941 in Duluth, Dylan needs no introduction and there's little more that can be said about him, so how about some trivia? Did you know Dylan has nine grandchildren? He also has a "World's Greatest Grandpa" bumper sticker that he proudly displays on his car. We read all of this on the internet, so it must be true.
Also, Today In:
1974 - All-time genius of jazz composing, arranging, piano, and band-leading (he led a star-studded orchestra continuously for almost 50 years), Duke Ellington died in New York City at the age of 75.
