Thanks to our listener, Leslie, in Minneapolis for today's 9:30 Coffee Break theme. Leslie wrote in, "one day I found myself wondering why anyone would name himself after a shopping mall (HarMar Superstar)? But I thought, well this is not the first time a place name is part of a band name. How about bands with geographic locations in their names." That is an excellent idea Leslie.

So, for today's 9:30 Coffee Break we are looking for bands named after cities, states, countries, or other geographic locations. Give us your suggestions and we'll play a few for today's Coffee Break.

Only a few days left to enter to win a Coffee Break on the Road with Jill and Steve. They'll come by your work with Peace Coffee, treats from Birchwood Cafe, and Music of Bomba de Luz. All you have to do is send an email to: CoffeeBreak@TheCurrent.org.
