MPR Movie Maven and Cube Critic Stephanie Curtis talks to Steve Seel and Jill Riley about a new film starring Robert Redford as a man alone on the sea, struggling to survive.
The film, directed by J.C. Chandor, features a score written by Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Redford is the only cast member, and his monologue is minimal. Stephanie describes All Is Lost as "electric," adding that she "love[s] this movie."
All Is Lost is rated PG-13 for brief strong language. It's screening at the Landmark Edina 4 Theatre.
MPR's Movie Maven, Stephanie Curtis, joins The Current's Morning Show to talk about films every Friday at 8:30 a.m.
