A documentary about the Stone Roses, The Stone Roses: Made of Stone, is showing tonight at Riverview theater. The premiere of the show made us think about other bands in the "Madchester" scene. Madchester was a British music scene that developed in Manchester, England, towards the late 1980s and into the early 1990s. The music that emerged from the scene mixed alternative rock, psychedelic rock, and dance music.
