Today we'll be celebrating another fake holiday. We're not sure exactly how you are supposed to celebrate Faux Fur Friday, but we do know who would be celebrating in the music world. There are many musicians that have protested fur and animal cruelty.

So, for the faux holiday let's put together a list of songs from musicians that are against animal cruelty and wearing fur.

Are you a fan of Thao Nguyen? She's in town for Wits on Dec. 20th and will be joining us earlier that day for the Coffee Break on the Road. If you want Thao, coffee and treats from Gigi's Cafe and a Coffee Break, just email us: CoffeeBreak@TheCurrent.org

Songs Played:

Moby - "Pale Horses"

The Pretenders - "Message of Love"

The Smiths - "This Charming Man"

Death Cab for Cutie - "Someday You Will Be Loved"
