In case you missed this when it was floating around last week—when Poliça stopped by Jimmy Fallon's late-night show, they performed one of their own songs, "Spilling Lines," in addition to a cover of Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me" for a web-only exclusive. And they pretty much nailed it.

Reina del Cid launch new bluegrass act No Tent

Well, this is timely. Members of Reina del Cid have formed a new banjo-fueled bluegrass quartet, No Tent, and they made their debut online this week with a performance of the New Year's classic "Auld Lang Syne."

Estate have fun with GIFs

Though they are now based partly in Minneapolis, partly in NYC, Estate are still busy creating imaginative, textured electronic music and stunning visual accompaniments. In their new video for "Tendency," a song they created with Liquid Pegasus, Estate's Josh Johnson traveled around New York shooting people on the street with a 35mm camera and turned the photographs into mesmerizing GIFs.

DEMO debuts "Naked" series with Ben Kyle

Romantica lead singer Ben Kyle reflects on the meaning behind some of his favorite songs and delivers intimate renditions on acoustic guitar as part of DEMO's "The Naked Songwriter" series (that's "naked" in a metaphorical sense). It's like going to see an artist play in a coffee shop, except without the coffee or the people or the whole pesky leaving the house thing.
