Have you ever listened to a song and been struck by the accent of the singer? Listener Ben, in Otsego, noticed it the other day, he wrote, "I was listening to The Current the other day and found myself very pleased with the accent that I could hear so clearly throughout the song. I would like a coffee break involving songs sung with a clear, notable accent."

We're taking Ben's idea and running with it. Let's put together a list of songs sung with a British (we'll allow Scottish or Irish) accent. What do you think we should play?

Songs Played:

Billy Bragg - "Help Save the Youth of America"

Glasvegas - "Geraldine"

Ian Dury - "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll"

Lady Sovereign - "A Little Bit of Shhh"

The Streets - "Fit But You Know it"

Art Brut - "DC Comics and Chocolate Milkshake"
