February 03, 2014

Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix is from Seattle. Who else should we play from the Super Bowl winning city?

So, did you watch the Super Bowl yesterday? It may not have been the most interesting game in Super Bowl history, but it did give the Seattle Seahawks their first Super Bowl win. There are a lot of bands from Seattle that are probably celebrating the success of their hometown team.

What songs from Seattle-area bands should we play to congratulate the Seahawks on their historic win? Give us your suggestions and we'll play a few for the 9:30 Coffee Break.

Do you need something to look forward to at the end of the month? You could get a visit from the Morning Show with treats and coffee from JJ's Coffee and Wine Bistro and a musical set from local band Carroll. All you have to do is email us and let us know why you should win: CoffeeBreak@TheCurrent.org
