MPR's Movie Maven and Cube Critic Stephanie Curtis joins Steve Seel and Jill Riley to talk about a new film based on the young adult novel by Veronica Roth.

Divergent is an adventure set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) is warned she is "divergent" (ahem) and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being divergent so dangerous before it's too late. The film is directed by Neil Burger and also stars Kate Winslet.

Stephanie is not completely taken with Divergent; click the audio above to hear her review.

Divergent is rated PG-13, and is playing at a theater near you.

Steve, Jill and Stephanie also acknowledge the passing of Hal Douglas, another one of the golden voices of film trailers. Here are examples of Douglas's work:
